Welcome to Our Little Slice of Paradise 🌴

Tucked away in beautiful Haliday Bay, Cabaña de Playa is our colourful little escape where beach days, bare feet and long afternoons are encouraged.

We created the Cabaña to be somewhere guests could slow down, reconnect and enjoy a proper coastal getaway without needing a packed itinerary.

With a splash of Spanish-inspired colour, plenty of personality and all the comforts you need, Cabaña de Playa is a place to kick off your shoes, pour a cold drink and settle into holiday mode.

🏡 The Cabaña

 

Cabaña de Playa is a cosy, character-filled beach villa designed for relaxed family and couples’ getaways.

Inside you’ll find everything you need to make yourself at home, including a comfortable queen bed, bunk beds, a fully equipped kitchen, coffee machine, Wi-Fi and Smart TV with Netflix for those lazy nights in.

Outside is where holiday mode really kicks in.

Enjoy a BBQ, play some outdoor games, gather around the fire pit or simply sit back and enjoy the coastal air.

We’ve also stocked the Cabaña with a few thoughtful extras, from breakfast supplies and coffee to board games and little touches that make arriving feel easy.

Wake up, grab a coffee and wander down towards the water. Spend the day swimming, fishing, exploring or simply doing absolutely nothing.

The beautiful coastline around Haliday Bay offers plenty to explore, while the nearby golf course is right on your doorstep.

And if you’re feeling adventurous, there’s plenty more to discover throughout the Coast and Mackay region.

Whether you’re here for a weekend escape, a family adventure or a few days of doing very little, Haliday Bay gives you plenty of room to breathe.

🌵 Our Story

Cabaña de Playa started with a simple idea: create a holiday house that actually feels like a holiday.

We wanted something colourful, relaxed and a little different from the usual beach house. Somewhere that felt fun the moment you walked through the door.

Inspired by our love of the coast and the vibrant character of Mexico, we filled the Cabaña with bright colours, quirky touches and spaces designed for spending time together.

It’s not about everything being perfect or fancy. It’s about the good stuff: barefoot mornings, beach walks, BBQ dinners, family games, afternoon naps and sitting around the fire at night.

We’ve put a lot of love into making Cabaña de Playa somewhere we’d genuinely want to stay ourselves.
